Located less than 20 miles from fish camp and less than one hour from Fresno, the River Creek Golf Course is known as the perfect golf course for players looking to split time between Yosemite and Central California. Offering up a massive clubhouse that includes both a restaurant and bar, the River Creek Golf Course is the perfect course for players who enjoy as much time off the links as they do on them. The River Creek Golf Course is a nine-hole course that was designed in the early 1990s by John Hilborn. Many of the holes offer picturesque views of Yosemite National Park. Although the course is only nine holes, each hole was carefully designed with respect to champion regulations and bunkers. There is a large lake located next to the 5th hole that acts as a water hazard during competitive play. Although it is possible to become a club member, most travelers choose to reserve a day pass several weeks prior to their trip.

The Wawona Golf Course was established in 1918 and is the oldest golf course in the region. Although the course is located right on Highway 41, many people choose to ask for directions from their local Fish Camp inn. The Wawona Golf Course is 3,050 total yards and consists of nine unique holes. Although the course is only nine holes, there are different tee positions for each hole, making it easy to play 18 unique holes on the course. There are two Par 5s on the course that are notoriously long and treacherous. If you are feeling like improving your game, it is possible to contact one of the many club pro's that work on the course throughout the year. Lessons can be reserved during or prior to your visit to the course. In addition to the nine-hole course, many people visit the Wawona Golf Course to work out on the putting green and purchase unique merchandise at the Pro Shop.
